I am a postdoctoral researcher at Stanford University. I am affiliated with the King Center on Global Development and with the Center for Food Security and the Environment. 

I will join the University of Wisconsin Madison as an Assistant Professor in 2025. I hold a PhD in Agriculture and Resource Economics from U.C. Berkeley. 

My research interests are in development economics, political economy and trade. My primary research agenda focuses on informal agricultural trade and the role of corruption, bargaining, gender and information. Most of my projects are located in East Africa but I also have projects in the DR Congo and India.
